Once the customer has left their key in the Keylocker, the receptionist must pick it up before a mechanic starts a check on the work order.
Only tablet users with receptionist role can pick up keys. Contact us at support@claireit.eu to update your Keylocker user rights if necessary.
Receptionist picking up the key
Steps on the tablet
The user can see on the tablet if a key has been dropped thanks to a key icon on the Appointment list.
When you open the work order, you will see a key-button. This button is only visible to receptionists, not to mechanics.
Once you click on the button, you will be asked to enter a security code.
You can obtain the security code from a Claire user with a Dealer Admin role within your organisation. If you are having trouble finding it, please contact our support team.
After entering the security code, a pop-up will appear with the name of the Keylocker where the key was dropped.
As soon as you click on Confirm, the QR scanner will open.
Steps on the Keylocker
Now go to the Keylocker and select the Pick up key option.
Click Next.
Select the QR Code option.
Use the tablet to scan the QR code on the Keylocker screen. The QR code can only be scanned by the tablet that requested it.
The key has now been detached from the work order and is ready to be picked up from the Keylocker.
If the QR is not scanned within 30 seconds, it will close automatically.
