When a
workorder is being created in Claire (through your DMS or directly in Claire),
this feature will automatically synchronise the information about the tires,
making the tire element question accurate and easily update information on
which set of tires is now mounted on the car and which one would be
stored.
Getting
started
In
order to establish the connection between DBB and Claire, an API account must
be obtained from DBB.
A regular account credential will not be enough to establish the
connection.
Steps
In
order to obtain the API account, contact us at support@claireit.eu and
we will guide you every step of the way and provide to you the required
document to be filled in or follow these steps below: Step 1
Send a
request to info@directaccess.nl,
please mention that the account is for the Claire application. Step 2
As a
dealer, you must sign an order agreement and SEPA for the monthly fee of €29,50
(based on 2020 prices).
Step 3
Once
you obtained the account credentials, contact us at support@claireit.eu in
order for us to enable it for your location.
If you have any questions regarding DBB, forward them by email
to dbb@directaccess.nl or call +31 (0)88-3767825 (088-DPORTAL).
DBB Button
On the
workorder details page, you will find a DBB Button in the upper right corner of
the page as indicated bellow.
Mini portal
By
clicking on the DBB Button, the mini portal will open. From that system you can
manage the contract of this car, the known tires, appointments to retrieve tire
set, print labels to return them, etc.
Status
The
color displayed on the DBB button will show you the current status of the
DBB appointment.
Here are their meanings of the 4 possible colors:
Green
An
appointment to retrieve the storage tires has been made, is effective (today or
past already). From this point, if a mechanic complete a checklist that
contains a tire element question, it will update DBB with the new data (
profiles, status, set on the car and storage, etc).
Orange
An
appointment to retrieve the storage tires has been made but is not effective
yet (still in the future). From this point, if a mechanic complete a checklist
that contains a tire element question, only the new profiles will be updated in
DBB, and you will have to confirm manually which tire set is on the car through
the DBB mini portal.
Red
No
appointment was scheduled yet. From this point, if a mechanic complete a checklist
that contains a tire element question, only the new profiles will be updated in
DBB, and you will have to confirm manually which tire set is on the car through
the DBB mini portal.
White
No
known tires for this vehicle was found in DBB. Tire data will not be pushed to
DBB.
Purple
An
appoiuntment was scheduled with DBB to collect the tires for storage.
Refresh
As
previously mentioned, when an appointment is created in Claire, we ask DBB
which information they have for this car. The refresh button is there to ask
again, if you need to update the appointment date or tires information. Please
note that only newer tires information will be saved in Claire. If we have more
recent information for the tires than DBB, they will be ignored.
It will inquire about the following:
If yes, the info will be updated in Claire.
Moreover, the the status of the DBB appointment
will be updated accordingly.
DBB Check Notification status
On the main board and inside the DBB button , for
workorder connected to a DBB appointment, you will now have two new
notification icons that can take 2 colors:
Green tire
An appointment to retrieve the storage tires has
been made, is effective (today or past already).
Orange tire

been made but is not effective yet (still in the future), or the car check has
been done but the swap did not happen yet.

Workflow
Scheduling the delivery of the stored tires
Prior to the workorder scheduled date, you must
create an appointment in DBB in order to get the tires in their storage
delivered.
Step 1
Search the workorder imported in Claire ahead of
it scheduled date.
Note: The number of days that
the workorder will be imported ahead of its scheduled date depends on what was
actually agreed upon when the DMS interface was set-up for your location.
Step 2
Open the workorder detail page, click on the DBB
button (it should be Red since no appointment was scheduled yet).
Claire will only sync if the
appointment is created using the DBB button, if the appointment is created
directly in DBB portal, changes in its status will not get updated in Claire.
Step 3
A new window will open, you will be redirected to
the page containing the information on the related vehicle in Direct-Access,
click Afspraak.
Step 4
On the Dealer Banden Beheer page, review the info
listed and click Opslaan en naar DMS to confirm the
appointment.
Access to tyre labels
If the car has a contract with DBB it is possible
to print the tyre labels by clicking on the tyre icon:
This will open a modal where you can print the
labels.
Mounting the stored tires
1. Perform the Tires questions
Similar to other standard questions, the tires
question must be included in a checklist/control in order for mechanics to
perform on their tablet. The checklist needs to be done before any
replacement/swap. It should be seen as the diagnose of the current status of
tires before any activities are done on it. It retains the same behaviour as
standard questions (for example: status must be selected and pictures or videos
can be added).
Tires question screen
Tires expanded details screen
The above screen can be pre-filled by a previous
appointment or by a third party such as DBB. If not:
When no season is selected, you have access to
all references in the dropdown. You can either select a season to list tires
for that season or select a reference to have the season automatically
selected. If a season filter is selected you can press it again to deselect it.
Selection of the profile automatically changes
the status, which can also be changed manually (for example: in order to skip
the diagnose of tires in storage, simply use X button).
Note that by completing any LEFT tires, the RIGHT
tires will be automatically be pre-filled with the same value. Moreover after
selecting FRONT tires value you will be able to copy its value to the REAR
tires using the button indicated below:
If you do not find the
reference you are looking for in the dropdown you can enter manually a
reference by pressing the + button. Keep in mind that this manually entered
reference will not be added to the list nor pushed to the third party service
such as DBB. Our support team will take over adding this reference and might
contact you for additional information.
2. Swap tires
Once the appointment is indicated as Customer OK,
you can access swap tire option by using the button indicated below in the Car
Overview screen.
However, the following reminder will appear when
mechanic clicks the End Car Final Check button.
Note: No
matter what you answer in the reminder pop-up you will always be able to open
the swap tire screen again using this button in the Car Overview screen.
Swap tires screen:
Click the first green button to swap front and
rear tires.
If needed, click the second green button to swap
On car and In Storage.
Once swap is confirmed,
