Adding replacement tyres in Claire V8 has been overhauled to streamline the process. These changes make it easier for dealers to offer replacement tyres to customers. This article will explain step-by-step how this process works.
How it works
Tyre replacements
When opening a workorder, the tyres of that car will be visible under the interventions tab, if available*.

*Tyre replacements tab is available when:
- The car had a tyre check done on a previous workorder
- There is a contract in DBB with tyre information
- The mechanic has done a checklist with tyres on this workorder
The tag Updated by provides the source where the information is coming from.
Adding replacement tyres
Click on the blue + button to add a replacement tyre:
Now the Add replacement modal opens. Here you can search and select a replacement tyre.
Here you can find all the information provided about the tyres. By default it searches for a the tyres that are under the car.

The available information depends on if there is a connection with a thirdparty seller:
TyreNET or
Tyre Team. There is no contract needed with a thirdparty to offer replacement tyres.
Select a tyre and click on Save. It is possible to offer multiple replacements.
The replacement tyres are now added.
When adding replacements to other tyre positions, it will automatically suggest the tyres that were added on the other position.
For instance: Two replacements are added under the Front Left, when adding replacements to the Rear Left, it will suggest the same two tyres.
Offering the tyres to the customer
After all the replacements are added, click in the topright on the envelope icon to send the diagnose overview.
In the communication overview, the replacement tyres are automatically shown, without converting them to intervention.
Now send the diagnose overview. The customer can select or decline the tyres.
Preparing the tyre replacements
After the customer has answered the diagnose overview, an icon appears whether the tyre is accepted or declined.
Select the + icon after the accepted tyre and select convert to intervention.
The intervention modal opens. Here you can add or change the intervention information. Click on Save to create it.
Click on the tyre icon on the new intervention to inspect the added replacement tyre.
Do this for all the replacement tyres, then put the workorder status to Customer OK.
Replacing the tyres
On the tablet, the mechanic will see the replacement tyres when doing the final car check.
Selecting the intervention will show the tyre information and the option to add the new profile.

It is mandatory for the mechanic to open the tyre replacement intervention and selecting the new profiles.
After the new tyres are added and the final car check is done, the new tyres and profiles will be added on the workorder in Claire.
