Info Status Setting (V8)

The info status can be used to ask a question to the mechanic. For example, when there is a question about a comment placed on an item that needs to be replaced or when something needs to be checked extra. After this, the mechanic can start an Info checklist to answer this question.

 

Where is the Info Status?

In the work order page, click on the green plus icon in the Notes box. It says Set Info Status.

 

 

 

How does Setting Info Status work?

Clicking on Set Info Status will open a pop-up where you can enter your question or request to the mechanic.

 

 

 

The following fields are listed here:

  • Note: This is mandatory to fill in.
  • Add attachments if necessary.

Please note: It is not possible to edit the Info Status note after it has been saved.Then click Save.

 

Then click Save.

 

The receptionists question is then visible in the work order as a note.

 

 

 

In addition, the status of the work order has been changed to Info. You can see that from this icon:

 

 

 

What does the mechanic see?

On the tablet, the mechanic sees that the status of the work order has changed to Info.

 

 

 

In the work order itself, the receptionists question or request can be seen as a note.

 

 

 

When the mechanic clicks on the checklist icon, he can start a checklist in the Info category. The lists here are designed to answer general questions and provide additional information.

 

 

 

What does the answer look like?

Back on the desktop, it is visible that the mechanic has answered the question by filling in the Info list.

 

 

 

In addition, the status of the work order changes to Check Complete.

 

 

 

After this it is again possible to set a new info status on the work order if there are any further or other questions.
