The process status is
an important feature in Claire. It allows you to indicate the next step in the
process and which user is up next. For example, by indicating that an offer has
been created and is being sent to the customer. Or indicating that the customer
has approved the work, so the mechanic can carry out the repairs. This article
explains the basic functions.
On the appointment detail page, the status bar is located in the top left corner of the screen:
As you can see, the buttons have different colors. Below is the legend:
Button with a black border | - This button is clickable.
Button has a color | - This status is already activated.
Button with a gray border | - This button is only clickable by a user with a different role. In this case, only the mechanic.
Button is gray | - This button is not clickable yet until the previous status has been activated. |
1. | Car in shop.* | |
2. | Check completed. | |
3. | Create an offer. | |
4. | Offer is ready. | |
5. | Contact (get in touch with the customer).
6. | Customer answered. | |
7. | Customer approval. |

By clicking on the buttons in the progress bar, the status in Claire is changed. Once a button is activated, it can no longer be deactivated by clicking on it.
The exception is the "Car in shop" button, which remains clickable throughout the entire process, allowing you to indicate whether or not the car is in the workshop.

When you report the car as being in the workshop, click on the "Car in shop" icon. The button will then change color.
When you want to report the car as leaving the workshop, click on the "Car in shop" icon again. The button will turn back to white with a black border.
On the overview page, you can see whether the car is in the workshop based on these icons:
The status icon of a car with a roof indicates that the car is in the workshop.
When a small arrow appears in the bottom right of the status icon, it means the car is out of the workshop. |
At the bottom of the workorder detailpage, you will find the activity log. This keeps track of which user clicked on which status at what time.
