Dealer Documentation (V8)

With the Dealer Documentation dashboard, the team can upload and publish their own documents.

Where can you find the Dealer Documentation?

The feature can be accessed from the menu > Dealer Documentation.


 

This feature is also accessible in the workorder detailpage by clicking on the book-icon. This will open the Dealer Documentation in a new tab.

 

Add Document

A document can be added using the + Add button.


 

The following window opens:

 


Below are the meanings of the fields:

  • Title: Name of the document.
  • Category: Select a category so the reader can filter the documents.
  • Dealers/Locations: The location(s) where the document should be visible (at least one location is required).
  • Publication Date: The date from which the document should be published.
  • Pin: Pinning the document will place it at the top of the list.
  • Visible to the Mechanic: Make the document visible to the mechanic (disabled by default).
  • Text Field: Enter the desired text here.
  • Drag File or Browse: You can import only one file, which will be available for the reader to view (maximum file size: 32 MB).


Info
When the date is removed, the document will only be visible to the person who added it.

Edit Document

You can edit a document by clicking the edit button.


 

The following window appears:

 

 

Fill in the new information and click Save to complete the changes.

 

Delete Document

It is only possible to delete documents that you have created yourself. You cannot delete documents created by other users. Click the edit button and then select Delete.

A warning window will appear. Click Confirm to permanently delete the document.


View Document

On Desktop

To find a document more quickly, you can use the location and category filters.



 

Then click on the desired document to open it.

 


On the tablet

Select Documentation from the dropdown menu to view the documents.


 


Info
Only the documents made visible to the mechanic can be displayed on the tablet.
