Creating Claire's Webhooks (V8)

Creating Claire's Webhooks (V8)

When a specific action or status update is performed in Claire, this feature will allow you to trigger a web call to any of your pages or API endpoints. The appointment ID is then provided, enabling you, to pull it from our Public API.

Please click HERE to head over to our detailed API documentation.

How it works

An admin role is required to access the webhook page. Then, in the hamburger menu, click Webhooks.

Creating a webhook

Click the Add Webhook button to create a new webhook.

A new screen opens where you can setup the webhook with the following:

  • Name: Name of the webhook (mandatory)
  • Default location: If provided, the webhook will be triggered only for the given location, otherwise it will be triggered for all locations of the selected Dealer
  • Trigger: On which status or change in Claire the webhook is triggered, see list of triggers below (mandatory)
  • URL: Will be called by the webhook (mandatory)
  • Headers: Optional technical feature, can be used for authentication tokens
  • Enable Webhook: To activatie the webhook
  • Send support ticket: If the webhook fails, this will send a ticket to Claire support
  • Queued: Webhooks get processed 1-by-1 in the order they were send. For example: online checkin sent, opened and answered. If it is disabled it can be: online checkin answered, sent and opened.
