The Claire customer communication templates allows you to create E-mail and SMS templates in your brand style. This will make your communication immeadiatelly recognizable to your customers.
Users with dealer admin role or higher can create/edit templates.
Editing the customer communication templates
Step 1
In the hamburger menu, under the customer comm section, click Templates.
Step 2
Here you have acces to all the communication templates in Claire. The green eye icon on the left indicates whether the type of communication is active on your location.
Click on a template to start editing. By default these will be set up by Claire.
Step 3
From this screen you can edit the template.
Note that any text between double curly braces {{ }} is pulled data from Claire. For instance, {{.Appointment.WONr}} adds the WO number from the appointment to the text.
It also allows you to add header images, logos, and buttons. Moreover the blue button on the page permits you to go back and forth between your code and the expected result.

To avoid images not being displayed in the email that the customer receives, the Upload images section allows you to upload a picture that can be used in the editor:

Click the green Save button once you are done.

Duplicating a customer communication template
Click the Copy button on the template that you want to duplicate.
In the Duplicate Template modal, enter one or more make(s), separate each one with the comma punctuation. Example: Ford, Fiat. You can then optionally enter one or more models.
Once you click Create, the template will be saved below the original template in the dashboard. Click on the small arrow icon to show all the additional templates.
Click on it to open the editor for this template.
It is possible to Delete duplicated templates. It is not possible to delete the default templates in Claire.
Revert to default
If you wish to start over agian with a clean template, click on the Revert to Default button.
It will the immeadiatelly revert back to the default Claire template. Click then on Save.
If you pressed the button by accident, click on Cancel to undo the changes.
