Checklist question settings

Is a photo missing from a question, or did the mechanic not provide an answer? Do you experience problems with reporting or a warranty claim as a result, because the importer or manufacturer rejects the claim due to the lack of a photo?

In Claire, there are options to set up for questions in the checklists, allowing you to make the check and photos mandatory.

Info

Contact support@claireit.eu to set this up on your location.

The following options are available:

  • Active: The question can be used in a checklist (default on)
  • Snooze enabled: Reception can snooze the found item in the work order (default on)
  • Hide X button: The mechanic can no longer skip the important question with N/A.
  • Can duplicate: Duplicate the question during the check, allowing the mechanic to complete it multiple times
  • Pin enabled: Reception can pin the found item for e.g. warranty in the work order (default on)
  • Photo mandatory: The mechanic should take a picture with this question (important for warranty items)
  • Price enabled: Reception can add the price to the found item in the work order (default on)
  • Disable OK without note: The control question can no longer be answered with only OK (without comment)
  • Hide customer OK/Convert to intervention: This item cannot be made visible to the customer in customer communications

When the photo mandatory option is active, the mechanic cannot report the question ready if no photo has been taken. Otherwise, this message will appear:

With the hide X button option, the mechanic can no longer skip the question:

When the mechanic needs to leave a comment on the question, enable the disable OK without note option.

Don't need customer agreement and don't need to convert the cheched item to an intervention? Then use the Hide customer OK / convert to intervention option.
