With the Check-in kiosk, the customer can now check in quickly and effortlessly, grab a key label and attach it to the car key. The customer can then hand over the car key at the counter.
How it works?
Welcome
The welcome screen will clearly inform the user beforehand on the steps that they need to take to successfully drop their keys.
The customer can have the option to book an appointment in the future with the Kiosk. This setting needs to be enabled in the kiosk settings. Read more here
Step 1 Authentication
The user can find his or her appointment by entering the license plate number or telephone number.
Registration Number
You can find the appointment by entering a registration number.
Phone number
You can find the appointment by entering driver’s mobile phone number.
Note: During step 1, if the screen has not been touched for more than a minute, the welcome page will be displayed.
Step 2 Check and Validate Contact information
If the appointment is found via the telephone number, the customer is given the option to add an additional telephone number (1).
If the appointment was found via the license plate number and the telephone number is missing, the customer will be asked to add these contact details (2).
Step 3 Validate Appointment
In this step, the user can validate the information about the appointment and add a remark.
Options exist in the Customer Commnunication Setting dashboard to make either the name or signature or both visible in the Signature section.
Parking location note
It is also possible to ask the customer during the checkin for the parking location of his car. At the top there will be an optional field to fill in the parking location:
It will the show the following screen, where the customer can leave a note:
In Claire this note will be visible under Receptionist Remarks in the important items section:

Step 4 Select key label
On this screen the customer is asked to choose the desired key label first from the Kiosk vault:
After pressing Confirm, the second step appears where the customer is asked to choose the corresponding number on the Kiosk:
Step 5 Drop off your key
Take the key tag & attach it to the car key . The following screen will appear. Text and image can be customized on Kiosk Dashboard, accessible by user with a dealer admin role.
Integrated to Claire
On the Main page
Once the customer has dropped his keys an icon will appear next to the WO on the main page, the workorder will then be moved on the top of the list. The color of the field for driver/owner/contractor should now be blue whether because of an Online check-in was answered previously or because the Kiosk is now answered.
Note: If the key was dropped on a date that is different that the appointment date, the appointment will be pinned.

You will also see any new phone number or remark added by the customer.
You can also share the remark to the mechanics. Click the button indicated by the red arrow in the image below.
The following modal will open, simply toggle on the button on the left of Visible to Mechanic.
Once is done, mechanics will see it on the appointment overview.

At any time, customers can abort the process by clicking the x button to reach the following screen to confirm.
