Changing maximum range of days prior set for the Check-in tool
As a part of the Customer
Communication module, the Online
Check-in tool gives customers the
opportunity to review the agreed work prior to their appointments. This
article will explain how to set the maximum range of days prior to
scheduled appointments that the Online Check-in communications
could be sent to your customers.
Prerequisite
You must
be a user with the Dealer admin role
to make this change.
Steps
Step 1
First, go
in the hamburger menu, click Settings under
the Customer Comm section.

Step 2
Enter the desired number of days in the field below Send online check-in how many days prior
appointment.

It has no
limit to the number you can enter, but keep in mind that the Online Check-in
tool will range up as the number of days Claire's interface imports
appointments from your DMS ahead of their scheduled date (Example: you set 4
days in the above screen but Claire's interface is set to only import
appointment from your DMS 3 days ahead, as for result the Online Check-in
communication will be sent to the maximum of its range: 3 days).
